He reminded them of the sacredness of the life, property and honour of one another, emphasised the importance of justice and the fulfilment of trusts, spoke of the rights and the fair treatment of others, including within the family, reminded them of their duties of worship, emphasised the brotherhood and the equality of the Muslims, declaring that no people is superior to another except in righteousness, and reminded them to hold fast to the guidance he had left them.
